how do I remove this screen panel?

my bug and blackout screens are not retracting correctly

I expect I have to remove the big cover to get access.

but the top section seems to be held in place by the lamp.

before I break anything tugging too hard, has anyone removed this assembly and could tell me how to approach it?

does the white lamp itself pop out?
or does the grey + white bit come out as one piece?

I did first look at those files you had sent me, but missed that one

I've now read that but the diagrams do not match my 2006 model

those instructions seems to be for 1995 to 2002.

it does not show the light fixture, which is where I am stuck.

The lights above the roof side windows are tricky. Point them toward the floor, then use a flat, wide bread knife to insert it into the slot on the narrow side. The light has a lip on the side where the pivot point protrudes. You can press this toward the center of the light and carefully pull the light forward on one side. Make sure the plastic is warm; otherwise, it will break.
